Trial of the Crusader: Lord Jaraxxus priest tips

This is an easy fight, especially compared to the longer Northrend beasts. You just need to be on your toes with dispels, and of course, heals.

Lord Jaraxxus will cast a self-buff on himself called Nether Power. This will increase magic damage by 20% per stack.. stacking up to X amount of times. As a priest, it is your duty to dispel it. Usually I don't chance it and cast Mass Dispel, this will also take off any Fel Fireballs debuffs on raid members within the radius of my Mass Dispel. This is usually the tank.

Note: Also remove the Incinerate Flesh debuff, as it will decrease healing and case DoT. If not removed before it expires, you will create a Burning Inferno that affect all raid members with DoT being 2500 fire over 5 seconds.

If you are caught with Legion Flame, move backwards, away from the raid. Moving into another raid member will cause damage to them, and it leaves a trail of fire behind, spreading the damage. A good strategy is to spread out and just back away.

Levitate is very useful for this fight. If you have the Glyph of Levitate, you don't need to stock up on those Light Feathers. Cast levitate on ranged before the fight starts, it will help with the fires. Have ranged call out when their levitate runs out. Also space out so you don't get hit by the the kobolds.

Recent Move to All That Remâins guild

For those of you wondering why I left PhoeniX... it was more for the sake of raiding and keeping everyone together. We were going through a period of changes. Many people stopped playing, including a few of our raiders, and there were other personal matters at hand. I almost stopped playing myself.

The idea of a guild merger came to the table a few times. And though I've been warned about the dangers of a merger (usually the other guild ends up failing), I decided that as a whole, this was for the better. Maybe if Anetheron were a bigger server and if myself and Elviron had more time to dedicate, this would have been different. However, as a whole, I'm happy here. So, discussing with Truden, we made a deal. I, and my raiding 80s members from PhoeniX, would move to All That Remâins and they need not apply. However, upon entering they are on Evaluation rank. That means, show up on time, don't skip out early, Accept/Decline invites, and just be generally a good and helpful member. Not too much to ask for.

That's what I'd expect from all my members. I love you all, PhoeniX... and yes, PhoeniX is still here.. It's now more social/leveling guild. I keep my alts and one of my 80s in there. Still feels homey and comfy.
